Future prospects

After you have completed your Level 3 Diploma in Advanced and Creative Hairdressing you will have reached the pinnacle of hairdressing apprenticeships and are able to become a State Registered Hairdresser (SRH) with The Hairdressing Council. However, there are still more skills you can learn to help you develop within the Hair and Beauty industry.

You will be able to develop your skills further by advancing onto one of our other apprenticeships each of which will allow you to increase your knowledge add to your skill set and become ever more valuable to your salon.

Training to be provided

Training towards an Advanced and creative hair professional, Level 3 qualification to be provided on a continuous basis by Saks Apprenticeships and your home salon team at your home salon and in some cases at one of our amazing academies.

You will advance your technical skills and knowledge in consultation, creative cut and colour, corrective colour and artistic hairdressing design skills including styling, dressing and finishing techniques.

The programme is ideal if you want to enhance your technical skills and take on more responsibility at work.

Things to consider The National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. As an apprentice you are required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and receive a minimum of 20% of your working hours in off the job training. Once you have successfully completed the program you will be submitted for your End Point Assessment. The EPA is an assessment of all the knowledge, skills and behaviours you have learned throughout your apprenticeship, it confirms you are ready and competent in the career path you have chosen. These assessments have been designed and developed, by employers in the hairdressing industry, to reflect the daily work of a hairdresser. This makes them very sought after by employers across the industry.
