WORKING TOGETHER

Training Providers

An Apprenticeship training provider is an organisation that works with employers and the apprentice to deliver apprenticeship standards and frameworks, which leads to the apprentice gaining a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification.

An Apprenticeship training provider is made up of four main types of organisations – further education colleges, independent training providers, universities and employers that offer their own apprenticeship training programme. An Apprenticeship training provider will receive government funding to enable them to deliver the standards and frameworks to help train apprentices.
