Wychavon District Council and Malvern Hills District Council launch new Up-skilling Grants to support employers and Apprentices

Funding of up to £1,000 (pro rata over 12 months) to help with the business cost of training new staff (i.e. apprenticeships/graduates)
An extra £1,000 is available if a trainee, initially employed on a training contract, is taken on as an employee.
Businesses can claim up to 2 up-skilling grants in each financial year, up to a maximum of £10,000 over a five-year period.
All businesses can apply provided the person being up-skilled is employed after the 1st April 2021
